Remote Desktop Access

After ordering a VPS from your Hosting Provider, you should obtain an IP address (or a hostname), a username and a password to connect to your VPS server.

Once you have this information, follow the instructions on this page to access your VPS remotely.

Create a desktop shortcut to easily connect to your VPS​

  1. From the Windows Startup Menu
  2. Type or search for Remote Desktop
  3. Click on the Remote Desktop Connection to launch the program

  1. In the new window, click on Show Options

  1. Type the IP Address or Hostname in Computer
  2. Type the user name in User name
  3. Click Save As...
  4. And browse to the Desktop to create a shortcut there
  5. And close this window

Use the desktop shortcut to connect to your VPS​

  1. From the Desktop, open the Remote Desktop shortcut
  2. Type the password
  3. And click OK to connect
