7-Zip

7-Zip is a tool that allows to decompress files. It's not mandatory to install it, but you can do it by following the instructions below.

Installation​

Automatic installation (using the installer script)​

  1. On the Desktop, open the Trading Files folder
  2. Then open the Installers folder
  3. Then open the 7Zip folder
  4. Launch the Install-7Zip.cmd script
  5. Wait for the black window to finish

Manual installation​

1. Obtain install files​

  1. Open the 7-ZIP Download page and download the latest version of the 64-bit Windows x64 .exe installer
  2. Save the installer in the Trading Files folder, in a folder called Executables.

2. Install​

Install 7-ZIP - Image 1

  1. From the Desktop
  2. Open the Trading Files folder, then Executables folder
  3. Launch the 7zXYZ-x64.exe installer

Install 7-ZIP - Image 2

  1. In the new window, click on Install

  1. Click on Close
