Open MetaTrader Data Folder

From MetaTrader5 File Menu​

MetaTrader Data Folder - Image 1 - From File Menu

  1. Open the File menu
  2. Then click on Open Data Folder

From the Desktop Shortcut folder​

  1. From the Desktop, if you have added the MetaTrader folder shortcut, open it
  2. Make sure it's matching the account you want to open
  3. Find the Unique Identifier folder and open it

Important folders in the Data Folder​

  1. In the Unique Identifier folder
  2. Open the MQL5 folder

MetaTrader Data Folder - Image 3

  1. Locate the Experts, Indicators and Scripts folder

Those 3 folders are very important, as that's where we will place the Expert Advisors, Indicators and Scripts files.
