📄️ Launch MetaTrader
If you have been following the instructions on this website to install MetaTrader, you should have one or more folders on the desktop.
📄️ Open chart window
Once you have decided which symbol you want to trade, you have to open the chart window for that symbol.
📄️ Expert Advisor
An Expert Advisor is a program that you load on a chart and that will automatically place orders, based on a specific trading logic.
📄️ Indicators
An Indicator is a program that you attach on a chart the same way as an Expert Advisor, but the Indicator cannot make any trades. It is mostly used to add visual informations on the chart, or to do some automated tasks every now and then.
📄️ Scripts
A Script is very similar to an Indicator. The main difference is that a Script will not remain attached on the chart. In most cases, it will execute and unload itself from the chart once the execution is over.
